Podcast #1 - Tom Cruise

I'll be posting videos of digital painting and drawing, including my commentary with thoughts and process. There is a separate blog for these, and you can find it on the right side of this blog, on top of my links section.

Give me your thoughts and suggestions, and I'll do my best to keep it interesting.

Joe this is great! You've definitely helped me attain that feeling you mentioned. Wicked caricature and great insight into your method. I would pay to watch these videos! Can't wait for the drawing podcast.

I made a caricature of my sister on toshop but it was really hard I don't get yet the technique. Thank you for amazing demonstration. There's something magic when the face born from the paper. By the way, I love your BRUCE CAMPBELL sketche. Excellent!

Joe, you made MY year by posting this. As an amateur artist, this kind of thing is so valuable. I don't get the chance to rub elbows with the great ones, but this goes a long way. Thank you for taking the time to do it. I greatly appreciate it! Now I'm going to go re-watch it a couple dozen times! Thanks again!

Yeah, I had a chance to look at the tom cruise and kanye videos. Really great stuff. Your attention to the subtle details is amazing. Like I could see myself doing a caricature of kanye west, and I know that it would end up completley different. So, its very education to watch a more seasoned artist. I think you should do a video of an immitation live sketch. I'd love to see what your thought process is when drawing a 10 to 15 min live sketch.

Joe, this is caricature GOLD!
The painting and the monologue are great. You planning on doing a sketch from the Darjeeling Limited?
Keep up the great work!
